Live Set From Los Angeles

Keys, voice, electronics and a table of singing bowls face the downtown skyline as the sun goes down. The set premiered a new evolution of Reza’s Yin and Yang material: to play the piano parts live with the sound he recorded, he sampled his 1957 Steinway at different velocities and built it into a playable instrument.

It is the most complete document of Reza as a performer: slow-building, physical and unhurried, finishing in near darkness with the city glittering below.
